Oh Baby, they're so cute!
One of the most difficult shopping trips I have to
make is the one right before a baby shower. After
having had three kids of my own and a passel of nieces
and nephews, I get tired of buying the 'same old'
stuff. Sure, you know what the new parents need, but
where is the fun in buying diaper wipes or crib
sheets?
Next time, I think I'll skip the traditional items
and go for one of these gorgeous

Like any good parent, you do what you can to
bolster your tyke’s burgeoning interest in art.
But when little Dexter took a permanent marker
to a perfectly innocent wall, you drew your own
kind of line — and ordered a customized
hand-painted wall mural from The Casa Collection.
Each one-of-a-kind plaque is done to order,
with junior’s name festooned with absurdly
adorable motifs and scenes. Little aviators will
thrill to airplane name tiles, sweetly hung with
royal blue ribbon. Ballerinas will pirouette over
tiny pink toe shoes. Brave knights and princesses
alike will adore trompe de l’oeil fairy tale book
hangings.
The color schemes veer from subdued to bold, in
styles from quaintly regal and monochromatic
minimalism to Pucci-esque explosions and groovy
paisleys. So with each design, Dex’s name becomes
a miniature opus on the wall.
Even if he wasn’t allowed to put it there
himself.
